A woman with long blonde hair wearing a black sleeveless dress and beige high-heeled sandals stands near a window with a black metal grid. She is in a room with a wooden floor, white brick wall, a large potted green plant on a black stand, and sheer curtains, with sunlight streaming through the window.

ABOUT

HI I’M EMMY

A woman's innate power is within, and until she finds it, she will keep searching for love, meaning and worth in the wrong places.

My story isn't that I lost my fiancé, although for a long time I thought it was. My story is everything that led me to this moment where I realized his death showed me the parts of myself I was hiding, performing and shaping to get everyone else’s approval.

It started at fifteen, in a relationship that taught me I was only good for my body. I reached for drugs to feel okay. I stayed in relationships that were mentally, emotionally, and at times physically unsafe, because I didn't yet believe I was worth more. For years, I didn't have the self-respect or the bravery to say the words that would have changed everything: that's not okay, that's not what I want. By twenty-nine, I had survived addiction, abuse, and years of being treated like an object instead of a person, and I had done some of that same thing to myself.

Then I met Scott. He was the first man who ever truly saw me and loved every part of what he saw, no editing required. He worshiped me. He celebrated me. We were three weeks from our wedding when he died. Losing him didn't just break my heart, it detonated the one place I'd finally felt safe enough to be myself.

What I know now is this: it was never really about Scott, or that relationship, or any of it in isolation. It's been one long apprenticeship in learning to approve of myself, because I spent decades looking for that approval everywhere else, from men, from a world quick to judge and slow to understand. Tragedy didn't create the wound. It just shined a light on the one I already had.

This is why I do the work I do. Not to help women become someone else, like she's out there waiting to be found, but to help them become so fully who they already are that being themselves is no longer negotiable. That's freedom. That's self-reclamation.

A LITTLE WOO, A LOT STRATEGIC.

I believe in energy and desire and the version of you that's still in there. I also know the actual science and body work behind why reconnecting to it works. Nervous system regulation, subconscious reprogramming, true feminine embodiment. The woo gets you open. The science and the strategy get you there.

I AM…

A PASSIONATE NONPROFIT FOUNDER.

I started Life Interrupted Foundation because families rebuilding after sudden loss deserve more than casseroles and sympathy. It exists because I needed it and it didn't yet.

OBSESSED WITH BEING ALIVE.

I say yes. To the trip, the wild idea, the thing that scares me a little. I flirt daily, I celebrate myself, my body, my own liveliness. Because that’s the whole point.

A DOG MAMA TO TWO YORKIE-POOS.

Winnipeg and Penelope are the loves of my life. They've seen every version of me and somehow still think I'm the best thing that ever happened to them.

A WALKING CONTRADICTION.

Gown to an elegant dinner, tank top for a wild night out, same week. I don't pick a lane. I want the whole range, and I want to feel all of it in my own skin.

SOBER AND PROUD OF IT.

I got sober at 21 and found a version of my own resilience I didn't know existed. It's part of why I know women can rebuild what feels unattainable, because I already have, more than once.

I BELIEVE…

Your story isn't something to apologize for. It's not a wound to hide. It's part of what makes you radiant.

Mindset alone doesn't move you. Your body and your subconscious run the show, and until those reconnect, nothing else really does either.

Desire is not something to be ashamed of. It's where your confidence, power and identity actually live.

Sensuality is not the same as sexuality. Sexuality can be performance. Sensuality is felt: in your softness, your ability to receive, your comfort in your own skin.

You don't have to pick between being deeply healed and outrageously yourself. You're supposed to be both.

You are the seductress of your own life. Flirting with your own existence and celebrating your pleasure daily is the whole point.

And most importantly…

You are already whole, complete, and perfect, exactly as you are. You just have to reconnect with the power that already lives within you.
